Kacey Gilmore, M.S., LPC, NCC
I am a National Certified Licensed Professional Counselor. I see each person or family I work with as a unique puzzle. Although we may not find every piece of the puzzle, and things may not fit just perfectly, we can work on putting together the puzzle that works best for you and your family. I specialize in school bullying, child/adult abuse or trauma, child/family divorce, relationship issues and other life struggles (anxiety, depression, anger, hopelessness, and helplessness).
As therapists, we do not approach every person or family the same, we create a plan together. I won’t know what works for everyone right upon meeting you, but as a team though – we can find what works for you.
A little bit about my background: I received my Bachelor’s degree Child Development and Master’s degree from Texas Woman’s University in Counseling and Development. Currently, I am now working on my PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy at Texas Woman’s University.
I keep myself busy with sports and our animals. My husband and I have 4 dogs all named after athletes including Romo, Kain, Dirk and Cooper. We cannot go a day without playing soccer, softball, disc golf, golf, foot-golf, or watching sports on television.
