Sheila Ewell, LPC
I completed my Master of Science in Counseling at Southern Methodist University in 2011. I also have a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Over the years, I have developed a passion for working with clients who have experienced various types of trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as with those just needing help in navigating life’s stressors. I especially love working with kids and young adults. My hope is to instill healthy coping skills, self-confidence, and the realization that our only job is to be the best possible “Me.” I truly believe that by comparing ourselves to others and not being our genuine selves, we will never be happy.
You will find that I am calm, collaborative, creative, and enjoy a sense of humor. I work hard to meet my clients where they are in order to provide individualized, evidenced-based interventions. If it does not work for you, we will do something different.
